Ohana, Salesforce and Me

Ohana, Salesforce and Me

I often get asked what I like about my job, and working as a Salesforce Consultant. In truth there are several answers I can give to this – I like the variety of work, I like meeting new clients, getting to know them and their business, understanding the challenges and opportunities they face and ultimately, hopefully, helping them reach their potential.

But I’m not sure that’s very much different from any consulting job in any industry.

I particularly like working as a Salesforce Partner because I get to be associated – even just a little bit – with a really forward thinking, modern company – which believes that business doesn’t have to be the antithesis to philanthropy. I love the idea of Salesforce’s 1-1-1 model, that everyone in the Salesforce ecosystem is part of one big, equal family. Yes, it’s a bit fluffy, but isn’t it something we should all aspire to?

Salesforce employees all consider themselves part of one big Ohana, that also includes their partners, customers, and members of the communities in which the company operates.
